Supervisors are responsible for achieving compliance within their area of responsibility. This can be achieved by:

• Personally complying and being seen to comply with UNSW policies and procedures.
• Integrating compliance obligations into work practices.
• Documenting and reporting any compliance breaches, or potential breaches (and encouraging your staff to do so as well).
• Ensuring your staff are aware of compliance obligations and requiring them to meet training and competency requirements.
• Integrating compliance performance into employee performance reviews.
• Perform your duties in an ethical, lawful and safe manner.
• Actively participate in the management and resolution of compliance related incidents and issues.
• Providing your staff with all the necessary resources required to achieve compliance.
